The JDRF Northern Nevada's annual Vision Gala is an extraordinary event.  Each year we bring together more than 900 prominent members of the Northern Nevada community for an elegant evening of fine dining, wine, entertainment, and an exciting live and silent auction.  The Vision Gala has raised millions toward funding research to prevent, treat, and ultimately cure type 1 diabetes (T1D).

Your support is extremely effective: more than 80 percent of JDRF's expenditures go directly toward research and research-related education.  In 2012, Forbes magazine named JDRF one of its five All-Star charities, citing the organizations efficiency and effectiveness.
